Hi, I’m Tahseen Haider, and I’m running for Students’ Union President because I genuinely care about improving the student experience and making sure every student feels heard, supported, and included at Ravensbourne.
University life can be exciting, but it can also be stressful — whether that’s academic pressure, wellbeing, finances, or feeling disconnected. As SU President, I want to make sure the Students’ Union is approachable, active, and actually works for students.
My priorities:
Making Student Voices Matter
Students deserve more than surveys that go nowhere. I will work closely with the university to ensure student feedback leads to real action, with clear communication about what’s changing and why.
Better Support for Student Wellbeing
Wellbeing should be a priority, not an afterthought. I will advocate for clearer support systems, better signposting of services, and a culture where students feel comfortable asking for help.
A More Inclusive and Connected Community
Ravensbourne is diverse, and that’s one of its greatest strengths. I want to help create a welcoming and inclusive campus where all students — home and international — feel represented and involved.
